This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies LandlordHub uses and how you can control them. LandlordHub is run by Gary Callaway, a sole trader trading as LandlordHub. Our Privacy Notice explains how we use personal data more generally.
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. "Similar technologies" include your browser's local storage and session storage, and the offline storage an installed web app uses. The law treats these in the same way as cookies, so this policy covers all of them.

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 is loaded from Google and processes analytics information on our behalf. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
When you pay, you are taken to Stripe or GoCardless. Their pages set their own cookies for security and fraud prevention, under their own cookie policies. Our pages also load fonts and code libraries from Google Fonts, jsDelivr and Cloudflare. These services receive your IP address in order to send the files, but we don't use them to set cookies.
When you first visit LandlordHub, the cookie banner lets you accept optional cookies, reject them, or choose separately in "Manage preferences" whether to allow analytics and referral link tracking. Nothing optional is used unless you actively allow it. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" button on the site.
You can also block or delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. If you block strictly necessary storage, you won't be able to sign in and parts of LandlordHub won't work.
We will update this policy when the technologies we use change, and change the date at the top.
