LandlordHub Agency

Frequently asked questions.

Answers to common questions about LandlordHub Agency for letting agents.

Do my landlords or tenants have to pay?

No. While you manage a property, the landlord gets a free read-only account and the tenant gets the tenant portal free. Only the agency pays.

How do the 3 free months work?

Every new agency gets its first 3 months free, with no card needed. Your plan starts charging in month 4. Add a payment method before the 3 months end to carry on. If you don't, your data stays read-only until you do.

Can the landlord and tenant contact each other?

No. Once you manage a property, the tenant deals only with your agency, and the landlord talks to you in a private thread. Their earlier conversations are closed and stay private.

What happens if a landlord leaves us?

You or the landlord can end management. The property and its full record go back to the landlord's own account, ready for them to manage or pass to another agent. Both routes need a clear confirmation so it can't happen by accident.

What if I go over my plan's property limit?

You'll be asked to move up a plan before adding more. Nothing you already manage is affected.

Can we bring our existing records across?

Yes. You can add properties yourself in a few minutes each, and landlords already on LandlordHub can hand theirs over with everything attached.

Is there help if I have a lettings question?

Yes. The LandlordHub Assistant is built into your account. Ask it about tenancies, deposits, compliance, repairs or new regulations and it answers in plain English, pointing you to the official source. It gives general information, not legal advice.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. The agency, landlord and tenant portals all work in a phone browser and can be added to the home screen like an app, with app notifications for new repairs and messages.
